I will be moving to DC from San Francisco (where rent control is mandatory for all renters) and I want to know what it is like in DC. Are all apartments rent controlled, most, some, none? If not, how is the price increase handled, and what percentage is the increase generally? Can landlords only raise it once a year? Any answer to these questions, or anything else similar would be great. thanks!Is DC rent controlled?
