A cheap, easy to program, relay or plc that can control at least 8: 12-24 volt DC motors. Ideas?

Programing will be done through visual basic and easy programing of the device would be nice. I want the program to run different motors for a certain time period when a user clicks a button on the computer program. So say a button click will run motor 1 for 5 secs and motor 2 for 10 secs. The motors will take DC voltage between 12 and 24 V. I know it sounds dumb, but I am just doing an easy build and really have no idea what type of relay or plc to use.A cheap, easy to program, relay or plc that can control at least 8: 12-24 volt DC motors. Search for ';nano plc';. It is a group of very small PLCs; about the size of two packs of cigarettes.

They can be programmed without any external hardware and are self contained. Though some may need supplied power. The outputs can be tied into solid state relays which control the motors.

Find at least four manufacturers in order to get a good sampling of what might be available.

I have seen them on ebay for under $100.
